West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Head, Purwanti Suryandari said, repair was done to strengthen the sheet pile structure along the Cantiga River stream to prevent erosion and maintain smooth water flow, especially ahead of the rainy season.

"The work began in August 2025, deploying eight personnel," she explained.
She requested the support of locals to help keep the river clean from trash and other debris, aiming to preserve the river so that it remains healthy and functions normally according to its purpose.
"Don't throw trash into the river because it can cause blockages. During rain and floods, it will affect all residents here," she asserted.
The repair received appreciation from one of the locals, Firdaus.
